Misericordia Hospital Child Health Centre

Ron Dickson & Associates are proud to sponsor Resiliency & Skill Building programs for both parents and children at the Misericordia Hospital Child Health Centre Behaviour Clinic. These programs are for parents and their children who struggle with emotional and behavioral difficulties that disrupt life in and out of the home setting. This funding will support three age-specific 10 week programs with an emphasis placed on resilience and personal responsibility. They will also focus on teaching and enhancing optimal parenting skills in a supportive group environment. These programs provide a positive and supportive environment for children and their parents to learn, practice and discuss new skills. Second Chance Animal Rescue Society

We have been a proud supporter of the Second Chance Animal Rescue Society for several years. SCARS is a non-profit Edmonton and Athabasca based registered charity that relies soley on volunteers and money raised through memberships, donations, sponsorships, government grants and other fundraising efforts. They operate as a no-kill rescue and primarily take in animals who are slated for euthanasia at municipal pounds. SCARS actively work within communities to promote responsible companion animal guardianship.
